My husband just got this really nice $3K thermal imaging camera for work (electrical work). He was showing me how it works and that you can even change to cold spots. A quick google said that thermal imaging cameras are used in ghost hunting to pick up cold spots. 
He’s still a skeptic though maybe if this keeps happening he’ll believe but as he moved it over the dolls a few times you could see three cold spots moving around over the dolls. I think the camera only shows one at a time.
He’s going to show me how to use it! Hopefully I’ll be able to share actual photos from it soon. I didn’t realize he didn’t take any.
